Short Film Screener

In April 2025, AAUW (American Association of University Women) Redlands CA will hold a fundraiser (called "FilmFest') for its Mission Fund. In the fall of 2024, a variety of short films (defined as 25 minutes long or less) suitable for the FilmFest (generally rated G or PG) must be located, viewed by volunteers and then referred by title and internet link to the AAUW event committee for consideration (via email communication.) The films must be available for public viewing on YouTube, Omeleto, shortverse or other internet platforms. Skills required include the ability to locate and watch content (short films) on the internet and discern whether the film meets the FilmFest criteria: Directed or (in the case of an animated short film) created by a woman or women, maximum length 25 minutes, high entertainment value, G or PG-level content.
