Museum/Press Internship

Malki Museum, Inc. is a Southern California Native American history and culture museum. We have a working publishing press that publishes information on So Cal Native American language, history, culture, art, and poetry. We also publish the Journal of California and Great Basin Anthropology (JCGBA) which covers various topics such as anthropology, linguistics, archaeology, and history in the CA and Great Basin region.

We are looking for interns who are interested in the museum field including: research, exhibit design, marketing, fundraising, event planning, etc. or are interested in learning about how to manage and work at a publishing press.
